反射节能涂料在中国的应用还处于起步阶段,而国家的“十二五”规划提出,到2015年要大幅降低二氧化碳排放和能源消耗,绿色节能事业要蓬勃发展,这为反射涂料的发展开拓了一个巨大的应用市场。ALTIRIS~襆涂料最突出的特点是能赋予任何颜色的涂料或聚合物产品反射太阳光的能力。添加ALTIRIS~襆的热反射涂料能使涂层表面温度降低15～20℃。对于黑色涂料而言,加入ALTIRIS~襆后总太阳能反射率可以接近40%,相对于传统黑色涂料吸收大部分太阳能并反射5%到8%的能量来说是一个实质的进步。
