Last year I visited the local auction market during my trip to Japan. On January 31, I also saw an auction of Japanese fine arts, jewelery and watches from Nippon Jewelery Co., Ltd. During my exchanges with Japanese auction-related personnel, I found that Japan’s adherence to the credit principle as a developed capitalist country runs through the auction process.
