文言文一般不加标点,经后人整理并加了标点的文言文,亦需弄清句读,方能准确理解文意。断句是阅读文言文的一项基本功,也是检验学生阅读能力的重要手段,故韩愈在《师说》中提出:“授之书而习其句读”,是“童子之师”的起码职责。现在广大语文工作者在教学实践中,积累了大量的断句经验,特归纳整理为八点,暂名“断句八法”。 Classical Chinese does not generally use punctuation. Now the majority of Chinese language workers have accumulated a great deal of experience in breaking sentences in their teaching practice. They are summed up in eight points and tentatively called the “Sentence Eight Method”.
