目的探讨丘脑底核高频电刺激对猴帕金森病模型丘脑底核局部脑组织结构的影响,评价长期丘脑底核高频电刺激治疗帕金森病的安全性。方法成功制作的右侧帕金森病猴模型给予丘脑底核高频电刺激,分别在打开脉冲发生器前、开机后的1周和12个月取电极周围脑组织行组织学检查。结果开机前及开机后1周STN电极通道内可见细胞坏死和淋巴细胞浸润,电极周围和末端可见胶质增生,开机后12个月电极周围和末端组织内少见胶质增生及淋巴细胞的浸润,电极通道的周围纤维组织形成膜样的结构包绕电极。结论长期丘脑底核高频电刺激对局部周围脑组织的异物反应小,耐受性较好。
Objective To investigate the effect of high frequency electrical stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus on the local brain tissue in the subthalamic nucleus of Parkinson’s disease in monkey and to evaluate the safety of long-term high frequency electrical stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Methods The right-sided Parkinson’s disease monkey model was given high-frequency electrical stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus. Histopathological examination was performed on the brain tissue around the electrodes 1 and 12 months after turning on the pulse generator. Results Cell necrosis and lymphocytic infiltration were observed in the channel of STN before and after 1 day after booting. Glial hyperplasia was seen around the electrode and at the end of the electrode. In the 12 months after starting up, rare glial hyperplasia and lymphocyte infiltration were found in the electrode and the terminal tissue, The surrounding fibrous tissue of the electrode channel forms a membrane-like structure surrounding the electrode. Conclusion The long-term high frequency electrical stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus responds little to the foreign bodies in the local peripheral brain tissue and is well tolerated.
