水中的溶解性固体,其组分主要为溶解性的盐类。当水中含有大量的溶解性固体时,可能使水污染带有苦咸味。因此它是水质评价的一项重要指标。但测定时需经过滤,并且烘干至恒重,操作比较麻烦。电导率是用数字来表示水溶液传导电流的能力,用于监测水中溶解性矿物质浓度的变化,是估算水体被无机盐污染的指标之一。其大小与水体中的阴阳离子的浓度呈正比,与水中的溶解性固体有密切关系。为了了解电导率与溶解性固体的相关程度,我们从1986年起,对西江高要河段水体的电导率及溶解性固体的含量进行了动态监测,

In order to understand the correlation between conductivity and dissolved solids, we started to monitor the conductivity and dissolved solids of the water body in the Gaoyao reach of the Xijiang River since 1986,
