熊秉明先生远在巴黎,却长久以宏扬中国文化为己任,使我们这些后辈钦之佩之。大约是十年前在熊先生的同学翻译家罗达仁教授那儿见到由商务印书馆香港分馆出版的熊先生大著《中国书法理论体系》,借回家中,细细阅读,还把书里一些精湛论述作了笔记。后来在《美术史论》、《中国书法》等刊上多次读到熊先生华彩文章,其中觉得最过瘾的莫过于《张旭与狂草》一文了。当时就想写点什么,但为琐事所累,一直拖到了今天。熊先生早年就读于西南联大哲学系,后留学法国巴黎主修哲学,转习雕塑。平素坚持写诗、作画,
