2011年全国高等学校教育科研论文统计分析显示,综合性大学、全国重点大学以及高等教育学科博士点依然是教育科学研究的主力军;具有教育学学科背景的人员在高等教育科学研究中起到了领头军的作用;普通高职院校发文量仍然比较少,所占的比例较低;我国高等教育科研论文发表显示了院校、区域高度集中且发展不平衡的特点,教育科研成果多集中在东部沿海和经济发达地区,西北部边远地区明显薄弱;教育科研论文中作者单独署名和2人合作署名是两种主要的论文发表方式,文章涉及较多数据收集分析的文章多为合作署名;作者队伍主要以教师和科研人员为主,职称构成中主要以高级职称者为主,初级职称比例较少;论文受基金课题资助的比率较高,省部级基金资助所占比例较大;论文研究内容和主题呈集中趋势,研究方法多为规范研究,比较单一。
