“瀛洲古调派”是我国近代“四大琵琶流派”(其他为无锡华文影派、平湖李祖*派、上海浦东派)之一,发源地是地处长江口的崇明岛。“瀛洲”是崇明的代称,它那三面绕江,一面临海的地理环境及岛上居民所讲的“海口语言”犹如一层面纱,在外地人看来增添了神秘的色彩。艺术流派的传播也是这样,几位著名的“瀛洲古调派”传人虽然不断在有关音乐史文献丛书上出现,可是一个人名往往有几种写法:有的是音同字不同之误,有
“Yingzhou Ancient School” is one of the “four major pipa schools” in modern China (the other is Wuxi Chinese Cine School, Pinghu Li Zu School and Shanghai Pudong School). The birthplace is Chongming Island, located at the mouth of the Yangtze River. “Yingzhou” is the name of Chongming on behalf of its three sides around the river, a seafront geographical environment and the island residents say “Haikou language” as a veil, in the foreigners seem to add a mysterious color. The same is true of the spread of art schools. Although some famous people of the “Yingzhou Ancient School” continue to appear in the books on music history, there are often several ways to write a name:
