Increasingly intense competition among enterprises inevitably leads to work in which employees are also under tremendous pressure. Some people have joked: “In our company, women are used by men and men are used by livestock.” Such a strategy of employing “pressure-driven” often leads to a series of problems, sometimes not only the lack of “motivation” among employees but also Hinder the normal development of the organization, the formation of “resistance.” In April 2003, Beijing Zero Market Research and Analysis Corporation conducted a study on job stress among 415 white-collar workers in Beijing (45.8% for men and 54.2% for women) through the Internet. The results show that 41.1% of white-collar workers are facing greater pressure on work, 61.4% experience varying degrees of mental fatigue, health is worrying. In 2005, Fortune (Chinese version) conducted a special questionnaire survey on the pressure of 1.576 senior Chinese managers (84% of men and 16% of women) with the help of Beijing Ipster Corporate Counseling and Service Center. The results show that nearly 70% of senior managers feel that they are under greater or greater current pressure. In many foreign companies, the high salary brings high pressure. Some employees have accumulated half a year’s vacation because they have worked overtime for a long time, but can not spare time to rest for a day. Professor Xu Yan of Beijing Normal University believes that too much work pressure has caused people’s tiredness of work and the decline of efficiency. How to relieve the pressure and overcome the job burnout has become a problem that must be solved.
