International phonetic transcription so far has nearly a hundred years of history. To make it more consistent with the thinking of modern linguistics, it is both appropriate and unquestionable that we should make changes to it, but regrettably, it is by no means a trivial matter. This is because we must also consider the following two contradictory aspects. On the one hand, it seems desirable to keep the practicality of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) symbol intact. These symbols are very useful because they are based on the well-known Roman alphabet. The fundamental revision of any basis for weakness will inevitably lead to a significant reduction in the value of these symbols as memorization methods. On the other hand, if we consider the progress made in phonetics research in the past hundred years, then we must make large-scale changes to it.
