北京市文物公司经理、北京翰海艺术品拍卖公司总经理、北京市书法家协会副主席秦公同志,于五月十日因心脏病猝发去世,享年五十七岁。秦公同志在文物鉴定及理论研究中取得了很大的成就,先后发表、出版了《碑帖书丹与镌刻》、《碑别字新编》、《中国石刻大观》、《秦说碑帖》等论著;为故宫博物院、上海博物院、首都博物馆等鉴定征集《玉版十三行》、《长沙帖》、《智永千字文》等二一级文物约一百件。一九九四年创立翰海艺术品拍卖公司以后,他又先后在国內外收购、竞拍了北宋张先《十咏图》、北宋五名人书札(指石介《与长官执事帖》、富弼《儿子帖》、吕嘉问《与元翰帖》、何栗《屏居帖》、左肤《与通判承议帖》)、元代鲜于枢长卷《石鼓歌》(分别见本期彩版、图版)。本刊本期除选发相关图版外,又刊出这篇文章,以作为对秦公同志的纪念。 Comrade Qin Gong, manager of Beijing Cultural Relics Company, general manager of Beijing Hanhai Art Auction Company and vice chairman of Beijing Calligraphers Association, died of a heart attack on May 10 at the age of 57.
