表象是在知觉的基础上大脑内所 形成的感性形象,是介于感知与 思维之间的一种心理现象。从表 象的这一特征不难知道,小学生 从感性到理性形成概念的过程中,表象是十分重要的环节。对于许多几何概念来说,只有当小学生真正有了这些概念的表象,才能真正理解、掌握这些概念,并加以应用。但在几何概念教学中,有的教师忽视了表象这一中介功能,致使教学产生失误,而这种失误对教学产生的危害,一般在当堂课不一定暴露出来,所以是一种隐性的失误,因而更容易被教师所忽视。
