1994年5月11日,人类历史上最黑暗的种族隔离制度在非洲经济大国——南非结束了其长达350年的统治,民主的新南非重返国际政治和经济舞台。 南非,位于非洲大陆最南端,东、南、西3面为印度洋和大西洋所环抱,海岸线长达2500km。举世闻名的好望角扼守两大洋汇合处的交通要冲,每年有4万多艘船只通过这里,素有“世界通道”之称。其中不少船只运载着西欧和美国进口的石油及战略物资。因此,好望角航线一直被称为西方的“海上生命线”。
On 11 May 1994, the darkest system of apartheid in human history ended its 350-year rule in the African economic power, South Africa, and a democratic South Africa returned to the international political and economic arena. South Africa, located in the southernmost tip of the continent, east, south, west 3 surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, the coastline up to 2500km. The world-famous Cape of Good Hope holds the traffic hub for the two oceanic oceans and passes over more than 40,000 vessels a year and is known as the “gateway to the world.” Many of these ships carry oil and strategic supplies imported from Western Europe and the United States. As a result, the Cape of Good Hope route has long been known as the “sea lifeline” in the West.
