The question about whether Yandi and Shennong are one or two people directly affects the in-depth study of our country's ancient history. The author believes that Emperor Yan Dao is indeed a non-Shen Nong. The idea of treating Yan Emperor and Shen Nong as a single person is due to the attachment to the Tugu and does not conform to the contents of the documentary record nor to the historical truth. This article intends to be the following aspects of this to be evidentiary, to teach in the academic colleagues. First, judging from the evolution of the documented records, before the Warring States Period, the documents on Yan Emperor were only Yan Yan emperor's words, without mention of Shennong, and they were not compared in the same way.
