The “Natto-III” satellite is a new generation of communications satellites designed to meet the needs of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. This article highlights the design features of satellite systems and the relationship of these features to the specific requirements of NATO. Detailed description of the satellite subsystems and their selected components of the technical performance parameters. Discusses the purpose and procedure of the experiment in various stages of development, appraisal, acceptance and so on, and introduces the satellite launch orbit flight program. Finally, some orbital test parameters of “Natto-IIIA” and “Natto-IIIB” satellites are provided.
