On August 14, 2016, NASA’s Falcon 9 rocket sent a Japanese communications satellite JCSAT-16 into the geosynchronous orbit and successfully recovered the first stage of the rocket at the offshore platform . Just two months earlier, on June 18, “Falcons” 9 launched the 9th “Dragon” cargo spacecraft for the International Space Station, and the first stage of the rocket was successfully recovered on land. So far, the first level of “Falcon” 9 has successfully carried out two onshore recovery and four offshore recovery. This shows that Falcon 9 Level 1 recycling technology is gradually maturing, thus creating a reusable launch vehicle for the future and significantly reducing launch vehicle launches
