在上次车辆热状态控制系统(VTMS)4年会上发表的(关于新型发动机冷却系统的)研究结果指出,对于不同车辆各种发动机冷却系统达到的效果为:(1)成本增加10%~15%;(2)重量增加15%~21%;(3)冷却液容量减少5%;(4)燃油消耗量降低3%;(5)热舒适性得到改善。尽管具有这些良好结果,但大多数汽车制造商对采用这种新方案仍犹豫不决,因为这种发动机冷却系统的技术突破需要昂贵的耐用性研究费用。在本研究中,取消了电力风扇,采用加热风机控制怠速和车辆低速行驶时发动机的冷却。由于取消了电力冷却风扇,这种新经济型发动机冷却系统的优点变为:(1)成本减少达30%;(2)重量减轻达30%。
The results of the study (on the new engine cooling system) published at the last 4-year VTMS (Thermal State Control System) show that the effects achieved by various engine cooling systems for different vehicles are: (1) a 10% 15%; (2) weight increase of 15% ~ 21%; (3) cooling capacity reduced by 5%; (4) fuel consumption decreased by 3%; (5) thermal comfort improved. Despite these good results, most car manufacturers are still hesitant to adopt this new solution because the technological breakthrough of such engine cooling systems requires costly research on durability. In this study, the electric fan was eliminated, the heating fan was used to control the idle speed and the cooling of the engine when the vehicle was driving at a low speed. With the elimination of the electric cooling fan, the advantages of this new economic engine cooling system become: (1) cost reduction of up to 30%; (2) weight reduction up to 30%.
