The Second Petroleum Machinery Plant of China National Petroleum Corporation, located on the “Longji” in Wollongong, Nanyang, Henan Province, is famous for its new product development in the oil industry. The second petroleum machinery factory, which has more than 5,000 employees, is a large-scale backbone enterprise that produces oil test and production equipment in China. Prior to 1985, this plant had been producing ordinary conventional products such as pumping units and well-boring machines. The output value of new products only accounted for 8% of the total output value.
