我国的某鉄錳矿床产于震旦系鉄岭阶內。整个含矿系与白云貭岩石有比較密切的关系。鉄錳矿层在含矿系內共有三个层位,它們由层状矿体或透鏡状矿体組成。根据矿床的产状及矿石的物貭組成、結构构造等特点来看,矿床无疑是属于沉积成因的。但在矿区內后期的安山岩岩系及輝綠岩岩脉也有发育,因之当矿石与它們接触的地方就經受了变貭作用。而在次生氧化带中則产生了次生氧化矿矿石,所以本区內的矿石可以分为三个不同的成因类型:一、原生氧化矿矿石(以水錳矿矿石为主)及碳酸矿矿石(多为鉄菱锰矿
