由于《佛说盂兰盆经》以及《地藏菩萨本愿经》等佛教经典的传播,中日两国长期以来都有盂兰盆节,并在这种佛教民俗活动中,慢慢地演变出佛教地狱剧。在中国,有自宋代就形成,流传一千年左右,形成了蔚为壮观的戏曲演出形式,至今不绝的目连戏。而在日本,则以千叶县的《鬼来迎》最为著名。《鬼来迎》是面具戏,以《大序》、《冥河滩》、《入锅》、《冥土》、《和尚道行》、《扫墓》、《和尚故事》为全部构成。它与中国的目连戏既有某些相类似处,又有迥异之点。
Due to the spread of the Buddhist scriptures such as “Buddhism telling the Bon-O-Bonsadhi” and “Bodhisattva Bodhisattva”, both China and Japan have long had the Bon festival, and slowly evolved in this Buddhist folk-custom activity Buddhist hell drama. In China, since the formation of the Song Dynasty, it has been around for about a thousand years and has formed a spectacular opera performance form that has so far cemented itself. In Japan, Chiba prefectural “ghost to welcome” the most famous. “Ghost to welcome” is a mask drama, with “Grand Order,” “Styx floodplain,” “wok,” “Deep Earth”, “Monk Taoism”, “Sweeping the grave”, “monk story” for all. It has some similarities with China’s Mulan opera, but also different points.
