High-risk patients with sudden cardiac death can be implanted with implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) to prevent malignant arrhythmias, but increase the incidence of electrical storms. The potential risk of arrhythmic pathology in these patients, ICD implants in the operation of the injury, the threshold detection damage and ICD defibrillation treatment or misdischarge of electrical activity changes, may lead to the occurrence of malignant arrhythmias. Treating the patient’s own pathologies that cause arrhythmic pathologies and reducing ICD-related cardiac injury are key to the treatment of ICD-related electrical storms.
