1995年11月8日,对山东秦池酒厂来说,是个永远铭记的神话般的日子。这一天,他们以6666.669888万元竞得中央电视台1996年度黄金段位广告播映权,成为中国标王。海内外100多家新闻媒介惊呼:“秦池”是中国白酒业斜刺里杀出的一匹黑马,其夺标之举是罕见的大手笔杰作。秦池,从藉藉无名而声震天下,成为国人争说的现代神话。其实,“秦池”发迹的渊源由来已久。宋朝贺元道人酒后曾写下这样的诗句:
