The foreign economic relations of the newly industrialized countries are mainly directed at the developed capitalist countries. This has become an important market constituent factor for the development of the world capitalist system. The cooperation between the two types of countries makes them more interdependent in economic development, and thus objectively creates a very obvious contradiction in the field of commodity exchange. In the period from 1970 to 1986, the volume of trade between the newly industrialized countries and the capitalist countries increased by more than nine times, reaching US$245.8 billion. In 1986, the capitalist countries accounted for 67% of the trade in newly industrialized countries, of which exports were 70% and imports were 65%.
