Some economically developed countries claim to have entered the information society on the basis that more than half of the workers in these countries engage in information work. In western countries, the scope of information work is very broad. Everything that creates, processes and distributes information is called information work. In his book The Megatrends - Ten New Directions to Change Our Lives, American social forecaster John Nashbit combines all the professionally trained intellectuals - lawyers, teachers, engineers, programmers, Doctors, accountants, librarians and journalists are all called information workers. The word “information” is translated from the English word Informafion, which can also be translated as intelligence, so information workers can also be translated as intelligence staff. Obviously, this is based on broad information (intelligence)
