The main task of geological exploration drilling is to obtain reliable and accurate representative core rock samples. However, in complex formations, it is very difficult for existing drilling methods to obtain representative high-quality core samples. This paper introduces a new type of double-pipe core coring, discusses its working mechanism, analyzes the design of its key agencies, and summarizes the main technical features of the new type of drill. Production tests show that the new type of drill Can significantly improve the coring quality of complex formations, and has wide application prospect.
