在高温高湿的台风季节(6—10月),对211份南方甘薯品种资源进行耐湿性田间鉴定。结果表明:品种间的耐湿性差异较大,表现耐湿性较好、适应夏植的品种有56份,占供试品种的26.5%,其中属高产耐湿类型的品种有11份,占19.6%,属中产耐湿类型的品种有16份,占28.6%,属低产耐湿类型的品种有29份,占51.8%;表现不耐湿,宜于秋植的品种有114份,占供试品种的54%,该类品种夏植比秋植薯块减产10.5—75%。在夏植期间,鲜薯产量与大薯重、中薯重、成薯数均呈极显著的正相关,与分枝数呈不显著的正相关,而与最长蔓长、茎叶重均呈不显著的负相关。
