尽快研制出高性能的姿态控制系统是当前最紧急的一项研究课题,只有开发出高性能的姿态控制系统,才能满足包括未来高精度的地球观测等在内的各项飞行任务的需求,才能适应当今全球领域对卫星尺寸小、功能强、寿命长等发展趋势的要求。宇宙开发事业团(NASDA)为适应这一发展趋势,于2001年启动了“高性能姿态控制系统”研究课题。启动这一课题的目的是通过开发下一代星敏感器(星跟踪器)、高精度光纤陀螺、小型、高性能的GPS接收机等并使之有效地组合获得高精度、轻小型、高可靠性、高性能的姿态控制系统。该报告描述了这种高性能姿态控制系统的概要、各种组成部件的性能(目标值)和开发程序。
