Objective To investigate the effect of serum aL-fucosidase (AFU), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), γ-glutamyl transferase (GGT) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) on primary hepatocarcinoma (PHC) The diagnostic value. Methods The serum levels of AFU, ALP, GGT and LDH in 88 cases of primary hepatocellular carcinoma, 60 cases of benign liver disease and 40 cases of normal control were measured respectively. The differences of the four indicators among the four groups were compared. Results The serum levels of AFU, ALP, GGT and LDH in patients with primary liver cancer were significantly higher than those in patients with benign liver disease and normal controls (P <0.05). The sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy of the combined tests were higher than those of single tests. Conclusion Combined detection of serum AFU, ALP, GGT and LDH can help to improve the diagnosis rate of primary liver cancer.
