The winter of 1986 was cold. Cold woman, men are cold. Northwest wind, like my cash-strapped coins, cold and hunger. Two months after mining at my own expense, I was forced into the waiting area at Xi'an Railway Station - the last hotel to avoid accommodation. Half of the waiting room was demolished, half of the dim light, half of the cold stars. A working girl loess slope, wrapped in quilts, warm on the bench. Women need warmth, men need warmth too. The wind of midnight, I will be cold to quilt. Long-haired shawl in my heart half-time working girl: warm into a sister, warm into a woman. My hand is held in my right hand and my hand is clutched in my left hand. Working girl's hands, I warm to dawn. Morning light, pierced the warmth. I hit the hands of migrant workers in the Shaanxi Opera: cold into brothers, cold into men. (Selected from the “Yangtze River Poetry” 2007 the third period)
