[案情]2005年6月,辽宁省公安机关破获了营口东华集团非法吸收公众存款案。经查,2002年7月至2004年12月间,营口东华集团以养殖蚂蚁为名,以给予投资者35%～60%不等的高额利息为诱饵,通过设立的13家分公司及代办点,向3万余名群众非法集资近30亿元。2007年2月,营口市中级人民法院一审宣判,主犯汪振东犯集资诈骗罪,判处死刑,其余案犯,以犯非法吸收公众存款罪分别判处有期徒刑。[点评]营口东华集团的非法集资活动主要是
