美国23个州10~3岁婴幼儿学习与发展标准数学领域中的形体与空间感子领域学习内容大致包括几何形体、空间方位、空间量、空间词汇等几个方面。大多数州将感官学习作为婴幼儿获得空间概念的基础,强调婴幼儿能通过游戏、日常生活与运动等方式,在成人提供丰富材料的支持下,发展形体与空间知觉能力。美国23个州所确定的婴幼儿形体与空间感的学习内容与学习方法可为我国婴幼儿数学教育提供一定的借鉴和参考。
