A detailed study on warpage stress of 18 steel-concrete composite girder bridges is provided. These bridges are designed from the Blueprint of existing bridges in Florida and include different parameters such as horizontal curves, cross-sectional properties and number of holes. These bridges, designed by different companies and constructed at different times, are considered masterpieces of modern design. The force estimation takes into account the effect of the construction sequence and warpage. The load is considered in accordance with the terms of the 1998 AASHTO LRFD. The effect of warpage is estimated on the basis of the difference between the warpage stress and the warpage stress for all bridges. The results of the analysis show that warping has little effect on the shear stress and normal stress of all the bridges. Based on the analysis, the current design clauses are discussed.
