假如从胡适《尝试集》中最早的几首算起,2016年恰好是新诗诞生一百周年。一百年,中国新诗已从稚嫩的学步者,走到了多向而复杂的成年,水准和面貌的成熟与早年相比,早已不可同日而语。而且如果从胡适这里看,中国新诗诞生的摇篮不是别处,就在大学中。数一数五四时其他的几位重要的白话诗人,沈尹默、周作人、康白情、刘半农、俞平伯……几乎都是北大的教授。算起来,北京师范大学与北京大学本亦属同源,1902年创立的京师大学堂师范馆,即是师大的前身。
If from the earliest days of Hu Shi’s “Trying Collection,” 2016 is exactly the centenary of the birth of the new poem. In one hundred years, the new Chinese poems have gone from immature tacit walkers to multi-directional and complex adulthood. Compared with their early years, the new Chinese poems have long been outdated. And if from Hu Shih’s point of view, the cradles of the birth of Chinese new poetry are not elsewhere, they are in universities. The countless other May 14 when several other important vernacular poet, Shen Yinmo, Zhou Zuoren, Kang Baiqing, Liu Banong, Yu Pingbo ... ... almost all are professors at Peking University. Forget it, Beijing Normal University and Peking University also belong to the same origin, founded in 1902 at the Beijing Normal University Normal Hall, that is, the predecessor of Normal University.
