The Pengshui Tunnel, one of the 11 key projects of Chongqing (Chongqing) Huaihua Railway, went through 14.5 months ahead of schedule. Pengshui Tunnel with a total length of 9028m is located in the Wujiang River in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in Pengshui County of Chongqing Municipality. Tunnels pass through adverse geological conditions such as denudation and erosion of low and middle mountains, making construction difficult.
