乌昌经济一体化，有利于两地资源优势的充分发挥，有利于打破两地固有的利益格局，有利于两地空间的拓展和延伸，更重要的是为两地新型工业化搭建了一个快速发展的平台。通过工业化的发展，努力把乌昌地区建成全疆最大的制造业基地，为新疆的经济、社会发展作出新的贡献。
