First, the scientific panel believes that the scientific study of BCG vaccination conducted in Chingleput area in southern India is high. 2. The Scientific Panel finds that the prevalence data obtained from the Chingleput area, as well as such information, are valuable for the future study on BCG vaccination. Third, the results of this study show that BCG vaccination can not be mechanically used in other parts of the world for the prevention of open pulmonary tuberculosis in adults without any protective effect. Fourthly, the lack of protection against BCG vaccination in this area may be related to the interaction between epidemics, environmental factors and the immunological characteristics of the people in the area.
