在欧洲,自2012年起《内燃机车EU-准则97/68/EGⅢB级排放规定》正式生效。相较于现在通用的ⅢA级标准,ⅢB级标准对于空气中有害物质的规定更为严格。位于腓德烈斯哈芬市的MTU有限责任公司将4000系列机车柴油机进一步开发,使其满足今后的排放限值要求。它是通过优化发动机的内部设计和柴油机颗粒滤清器来实现这一目标的。
In Europe, the “Emission Standard for Diesel Locomotives EU-Directive 97/68 / EG Ⅲ B” has come into effect since 2012. Compared to the current general level Ⅲ A standards, Ⅲ B-level standards for hazardous substances in the air more stringent requirements. MTU GmbH, in Friedrichshafen, has further developed the 4000 Series locomotive diesel engine to meet future emission limits. It does this by optimizing the internal design of the engine and the diesel particulate filter.
