The folklore theory of natural reproduction of human reproduction and of parents and children provides a useful starting point for the investigation of the human kinship system. This theory of folklore is testable as a realistic reflection of the concept of kinship and as a realistic reflection of human behavior and as a guide to social activity. The concept of reproductive and parent-child relations as enshrined in this article by Nyinba, a Tibetan-speaking group in northwestern Nepal, and their rationale for explaining kinship with this notion are of particular social significance .
