In the vicinity of Liaoning Hotel, the Japanese-occupied building still remains - “Manchuria Medical University” and now Shenyang Medical College (later renamed China Medical University). In order to understand the situation of Japanese doctors in living anatomy, I visited this place which was once the site of Nihon University of Medical Sciences. This school was established by Japan under the banner of “Researching on Chinese Medicine” in 1911 and started to be called “Nan Man Medical School.” It was renamed as “Manchuria Medical University” in 1922 and Japan failed in 1945. Within 34 years of the Japanese imperialist “Manchuria Medical University,” the hospital did not seek medical treatment for the Chinese people. Instead, it used the Chinese as a valuable research material.
