苏轼继承和发展了韩愈和欧阳修的审美思想和文道观，形成了标新领异的寓意于物而不留意于物的审美观、文道两本的审美主张、外求豪放，内求淡泊的审美理想和“率意”、“传神”的审美风格。苏轼在散文、诗词、书画等方面的美学追求中，建构了多维的美学思想。
