为了缓解主要航空枢纽的拥堵状况,使飞机能够在较短的跑道上起飞和降落,航空界提出了一种可能的解决方案——环流控制翼概念。该技术要求增加高压空气的量,这些高压空气可由喷气式发动机产生,也可通过安装独立压缩机获得,其在机翼的前缘和后缘上流动,从而产生更大的升力。由此,飞机就能够在较低的速度下起飞和降落,从而缩短所需跑道的长度,并提高承载能力。
To alleviate the congestion in major aviation hubs and allow aircraft to take off and land on shorter runways, the aviation community has come up with a possible solution - the concept of a circular flow control wing. This technique requires an increase in the amount of high-pressure air that can be generated by the jet engine or by installing an independent compressor that flows over the leading and trailing edges of the wing resulting in greater lift. As a result, the aircraft can take off and land at lower speeds, shortening the required runway length and increasing load carrying capacity.
