Isaac Bashevis Singer is very much concerned about the fate of Jewish people, so he often presents Jews’ sufferings in his literary works. The Bus, by means of describing the narrator’s experiences during a bus tour through Spain, in different dimensions reinforces the destructive impact of persecution that Jews have gone through. Moreover, he implies such persecution is not merely confined between Jews and the Gentile, but also spreads among the whole human beings who hold differet beliefs.
