The optical model potential is one of the most basic physical quantities that need to be determined first in a nuclear reaction. Optical potential parameters are very sensitive to the internal structure of the nucleus. For the weakly bound system 7Li + 11B, the systematic optical potential of this system has attracted people’s attention due to the large quadrupole moment in both the bomb-core and target nuclei, strong interest. The easiest and most effective way to extract the optical potential parameters is to calculate the elastic scattering angle distribution of the fitted system through the optical model. Therefore, this work measured the elastic scattering angle distribution of 7Li + 11B system experimentally, and extracted the weakly bound system only by fitting the experimental data
