胜泰１号是优质超高产类型籼稻品种，米质指标达部颁优质米一、二级标准，较抗细菌性条斑病，中抗稻瘟病和白叶枯病，适应性广，可作早稻、晚稻或中稻种植。在双季稻区单季每６６７ｍ２产量一般为５００ｋｇ左右，高产栽培超６５０ｋｇ；在中稻区种植，产量高于汕优６３，比一般优质常规品种显著高产。其稻米售价比一般杂交稻高２０％─６０％，是一个集“高产、优质、高效”于一体的理想水稻良种。
Shengtai No. 1 is a high-quality and super-high-yielding indica rice variety. The quality index of rice is up to the ministerial standards of Grade I and II.
