黄芪为常用中药,原名黄耆,《神农本草经》列为上品,系豆科植物内蒙黄芪和膜荚黄芪及其同属相近种植物的干燥根。其产地较多,商品性状各异,商品规格亦较复杂,历史上习以产地及加工后的规格分类。以产地分类的主要有:卜奎芪:产于黑龙江省齐齐哈尔(旧称卜奎)、嫩江及内蒙古莫力达瓦旗斡尔族自治旗等地。宁古塔芪:产于黑龙江省宁安(旧称宁古塔)及吉林省延吉一带。正口芪:产于内蒙古,以往多经“独石口”进关集散,故统称“口芪”。武川芪:产于内蒙古武川等
