从甘肃文化市场发展的纵向来看,“十一五”期间甘肃文化市场在政府的大力扶持下取得了不俗的成绩,文化基础设施建设不断完善,文化企业规模和竞争力有了很大的提升,文化产品的市场占有率和品牌影响力逐渐扩大,基本实现了文化产业经济效益和社会效益双赢的目的。但从全国文化市场发展横向比较来看,甘肃文化产业发展和文化市场建设还存在很大的差距。
