The rapid development of optical fiber technology is bound to promote a major revolution in network communications from cable networks to optical networks. Whether telecommunications or cable networks, the ultimate fate is fiber to the home (FTTH) fiber network access. How to Realize FTTH in CATV Network This paper introduces the basis of network design, equipment selection, network cabling, optical power design and the application of PON in FTTH.
