在紀念世界文化名人、我国戏剧家关汉卿戏剧创作七百年的时候,在北京——元朝的大都,中国京剧院二团和三团,分别演出了他的名著《智靳魯斋郎》(馬少波、范鈞宏改編)和《五侯宴》(馬少波、景孤血改編),这是非常有意义的。这两个戏对原著都进行了必要的改編,在情节与人物上散了比較恰当的丰富或删减。在主題思想方面,都保留了原著的精神。《智斬鲁斋郎》一剧,在情节与人物性格方面丰富的比較多一些。它更鲜明地突出了原著所要表現的封建貴族对平民的欺压与凌辱,突出了人民的反抗性,包公智慧大胆、为民除害的精神。改編者在这个戏中,增加了四、五埸好戏。比如在鋇匠李二的妻子被魯斋郎搶走以后,这里加了一个过埸:魯斋郎在馬上挾持着这个妇人加鞭急馳,而她却一直在掙扎着、嘶喊着:“……乡亲們快快把馬拦。不顧生死挣脫命!”这样既能在地点上显示出了是由許州馳馬到汴梁,同时也有力地刻画了李二妻的反抗情緒。寥寥的几句唱和这个簡短的过場,便耠这个人物在以后能够去告状,能够有“不
