语言是文化的载体。在很大程度上,文化的差异决定了语言的差异,在外语教学中,加大语言文化知识背景内容的教学显得越来越重要。如何能在教学过程中做到语言教学同步于文化教学,对学生跨文化交际能力的进一步强化和提高,帮助其习得英语语言背后的英美文化,能准确、得体地感知文化差异的辨别能力,是摆在英语教师及学习者面前的一项艰巨任务。本文强调了外语教学中的文化因素,就此问题进行反思、阐释,并结合笔者多年的英语教学经验,提出一些可行性方法。
Language is the carrier of culture. To a large extent, the cultural differences determine the language differences. In foreign language teaching, it is more and more important to intensify the teaching of the background of language and culture. How to make language teaching synchronized with culture teaching in the process of teaching, to further strengthen and improve students’ ability of intercultural communication, to help them acquire the Anglo-American culture behind the English language, to accurately and appropriately perceive the discrimination ability of cultural differences, It is a daunting task for English teachers and learners. This paper emphasizes the cultural factors in foreign language teaching, and reflects on this issue. Based on my years of teaching experience in English, I put forward some feasible methods.
