通过对十红滩铀矿床目的层中钙质砂岩的统计及其产出特征分析,认为钙质砂岩为顺层、断续分布的串珠状透镜体,产出空间界面位置为砂体的顶底部或冲刷面,岩性为粒度较粗、分选较好的砂岩。钙质砂岩累计厚度等值线图显示,钙质砂岩较集中地分布在矿体发育区。由此可见,氧化还原过渡带中钙质砂岩的形成与铀矿化具有一定的成因联系。
